Water Washing & Lavatec
Alpin Socks has 10 Lavatec steam finishing machines, 11 high capacity water washing machines and 7 drying machines.
All kinds of anti-bacterial and silver washings are made by this department. Also, Alpin Socks can provide boarding soft hand-feel for wool and cotton socks.
Alpin Socks has experience in anti-yellowing washings.
Boarding & Packing
Alpin Socks has 45 steam boarding machines. We have gained a lot of experience with optimum temperature, time and steam pressure settings.
Alpin Socks has 5 metal detectors. The goods are transferred from the packaging department and are passed through metal detectors to confirm there are no metal parts in the product.
Alpin Socks applies a strict broken needle policy in every process and ensures all workers are aware of this policy.
Alpin Socks have 2 double covering, 1 single covering and 2 air covering machines.
Alpin believe the key to success is to manage all stock efficiently by having a tidy and systematic warehouse with appropriate procedures in place.
Alpin Socks uses a special software solution in the ALPIN ERP system to provide stock management for all yarn and accessories in the warehouse.
Thanks to this system, order placement, address and quantity of all products can be followed live at all times.
Various quality control procedures are followed for all manufacturing operations by the 'Quality Control Teams' in all the production operations to provide high quality products. Thanks to these quality controls, Alpin Socks can achieve all of the required product safety standards and in addition continuously improve its product quality.
All details of process controls can be reported directly by the special software in ALPIN ERP system electronically.
In addition to all of these control systems, all the finished goods receive a further final inspection prior to despatch.
Within the well-equipped Alpin laboratory all yarns are rigorously tested to ensure the incoming lots/batches meet the stringent quality requirements expected from supply materials.
Any yarn that fails to meet our high quality requirements is disgarded and not used in our manufacturing operations. All test results are recorded by a special software in ALPIN ERP system and kept electronically for review.
